Death of Uncle Joe Jennings at 81 Years
Uncle Joe Jennings longtime resident of Jasper county dies after a long illness at age 81 years 9 months and 1 day. Born in Knox county Ohio March 30 1817 he moved to town in 1856 later living on a farm northwest of town. Survived by one son Charles E Jennings and five other children all but Charles deceased. Funeral held at the Christian church Monday with Rev J Hanna officiating. interment beside wife and children.
