Murder Trial in Newton District Court Frays Attention
The Newton district court this week heard the murder trial of Frank Schwarz for the mutter of Henry Meir. A large crowd filled the courtroom as jurors were selected from a long panel. testimony included statements from Mrs Meir and son August while Lena Meir testified he struggled with English. The defense contends self defense and more witnesses are to testify, with a verdict expected by tomorrow noon. The grand jury remains in session as the trial consumes public interest.
