Israel Indicates WIllingness For Concessions In Peace Deal
Israel may trade occupied Arab land for a Middle East peace agreement, Foreign Minister Yigal Allon told Yediot Aharonot. He said front line thinning near the Suez Canal aims to prepare the public for concessions needed for a settlement. Paris and Washington reports note Egypt to allow Israeli freight through the canal, with quiet enforcement to avoid reaction from Syrians and Palestinians. Also, volunteers were sought to fold Avenue of Flags at 8 pm and Whitewater teacher Roger Wayne Oneil named Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America 1975 with a chance at a $500 grant.
