Gunman rifles New Rochelle warehouse siege injuring six
A man with an M16 fired on Neptune Worldwide Moving Co workers in a New Rochelle warehouse. He held officers at bay, wounded six people including four police, and fired from inside and the roof as hostage teams closed in. Authorities moved in with armored vehicles and a helicopter joined the scene.

Four young men were shot to death in their mobile home near Hollandsburg Indiana likely in a robbery.
