Gov. Robert F. Bennett ordered his staff to investigate allegations that two Kansas Water Resources Board members had conflicts of interest in a water sale contract with KCPL and KG&E. The attorney general will study the matter, with possible ouster actions if warranted. Bennett stressed he will seek facts first and that the contract should proceed.

Stolen Kansas driver licenses fuel theft scare

The Ada County law enforcement adopts the ASTRA teletype system linking dispatch to NLETS NCIC and MULES via a Kansas network.
