San Francisco players win Grand National Teams at Summer Nationals
About 10,000 bridge players gathered in Miami Beach for the Summer Nationals. District 21 winners were Chip Martel, Lew Stansby, Hugh Ross, Kyle Larsen, Ron Smith, and Ralph Buchalter, with Stansby defending superbly in the final. West of District 12 miscues a key play altered the outcome in a major deal.
