Plant Celebration honors 1000 day safety record at Alpha Lime Kiln
National Safety Council and U S Bureau of Mines joined Alpha Portland Cement executives and Maryland officials to recognize 1000 days with no lost time injuries at the Lime Kiln plant. G L Reimel received 689669 man hours, Paul Mills 702123 in the quarry, and D W Heineck accepted the main 1000 day plaque.
