Youth in Lime Light at Chicago International Dairy Show
Youth will be in the spotlight at the International Dairy Show in Chicago from October 6 to 8. 4-H and FFA youth along with college students will compete for over 6000 dollars in prizes across Ayrshires Brown Swiss Guernseys Jerseys Holsteins and Milking Shorthorns. A collegiate dairy cattle judging contest a 4-H dairy cattle judging contest and a collegiate dairy products judging contest are planned with an awards banquet that evening. Outstanding 4-H dairy members from 19 states will attend a 4-H dairy conference and tour during a four day Chicago stay featuring cattle judging plant tours and meetings with dairy leaders.
