Law professor testifies on Neil Bush Silverado disclosure
In Denver a law professor testified that Neil Bush adequately informed Silverado savings board about his dealings with Kenneth Good, while an Office of Thrift Supervision official suggested Bush could have been more forthright. The hearing explores whether Bush improperly voted on loans to Good and Bill Walters, who later defaulted on over 132 million dollars in thrift loans. Silverado collapsed in 1988 at a cost to taxpayers of 1 billion.
