Plenty Of Cash For Retarded But Little For Gifted Student's School
Sands Point NY NEA reports on Marie Fetsch founder of a gifted students school, pressing for funding where federal state and local money focus on the underprivileged but not the talented. The school serves 225 pupils with 25 teachers, offering classes from preschool to high school and plans for a junior college. Tuition reaches 1700 yearly, with financial aid from the founder as funds are exhausted.
