Jerry Constable Murdered by Desperate Negro at Greenwich Pier
In Greenwich New Jersey Samuel Greenage a 28 year old colored man shot Constable Harry Buck as he tried to take him to Judge John Mall at Greenwich. Greenage fled after the killing and wounded his wife when met by his arresting party. Sheriff Hendge and a posse pursued him through forests and marshes.
