Czolozszy Sentenced to Be Electrocuted at Auburn Prison
Buffalo dispatch reports Leon F. Czolgosz the McKinley assassin was sentenced to death by electrocution in Auburn State Prison in the week starting October 28 1901. Judge White declared the punishment death after confirming guilt and detailing the sentence. Czolgosz was taken to Auburn under guard and the article notes Mrs McKinley’s improving condition and other items from Rome London and Canton reports.
