The decision follows protests and public hearings, with a revised site chosen on a Miller cattle operation near Edgemont Road. Marmet may appeal to the Court of Special Appeals within 30 days of the written order.

Frederik City Police arrested LaCore US 20 of Washington DC at John Hanson Apartments at 3:15 PM on May 19 in connection with Operation Crack Down. He faced one count distribution of crack cocaine two counts possession with intent to distribute two counts possession of crack cocaine and one count possession of paraphernalia. Authorities reported four large pieces of crack with an estimated street value of 40 dollars each and cash found. He was jailed pending court appearance.
