Future studies surpass past in science fiction education
Arthur F. Corey of the California Teachers Association argues that future-focused learning has more value for today’s children than ancient and medieval history. He urges adding futurity courses and possibly dropping some history, emphasizing critical thinking and open mindedness as the core teacher’s duty. The informed attitude defines a scientist beyond specific sciences.
