Syracuse Woman Predicts Weather By Vision
In Syracuse New York a local woman Mrs Sva Wilkin claims to foretell the weather by signs read in the sky and clouds without instruments. She says seven signs indicate a week ahead and has predicted ten days with no mistakes, challenging the Weather Bureau's methods. Major Horsey of Washington invites her to accompany a balloon study to prove her approach.
