Vernia Mae Nealon six year old daughter of Mrs Ollie Nealon of 236 East Sixth Street was admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital after being struck by an automobile driven by Adabelle Abrecht of 3809 Montclair Avenue. Vernia was walking with an older girl when she darted into the street from the north curb and collided with the auto moving west on East Sixth. She is under observation for possible head injuries and reported in satisfactory condition. Officer Frank Main investigated. no charges filed.

City dump truck runs off road on West Patrick Street
A city owned dump truck driven by Maurice H. Stone ran off the right side of the road at 5 05 p m yesterday on West Patrick Street near James Street.
