Allison wins unchallenged Dover track race after early lead
Yeager era summary follows as Allison dominates the Dover race led by Yarborough early and then passes to secure a clear finish. Petty and Pearson trade spots early while Waltrip moves to second late, with Baker and Yarborough on the same lap just before Allison pulls away. An AMA dirt track event at Dover featured Donnie Smith and novice rider attempts with mixed results.
