Bevan Verdict In Martinsburg Suit Against City
In Berkeley Circuit Court Martinsburg yesterday a jury awarded Mrs Wilhelmina Bevans two thousand dollars for injuries from a sidewalk fall. Bevans had sued for five thousand dollars. The case will be appealed to the State Supreme Court. A Junior Fire Company meeting on North Market street appointed a committee to draft resolutions on the death of active member Mr George Hoskins Morgan.
