Tonight at 7 in the outside Beef Barn pavilion the Beef Sheep and Swine Club presents its annual Fair Week sale. Forty 4 H and FFA exhibitors showcase 53 steers 15 swine and 23 sheep for auction with 93 swine 32 exhibitors and 103 sheep in play. The event unites city and county supporters including Litton Bionetics Key Chevrolet Coca Cola and Wendy's as youth gain profit and experience through animal projects and auction proceeds.

United Appeal revs up nine agencies in preview drive

Twenty years ago the United Appeal released fact sheets on its nine member agencies and promised more data to acquaint the public with the Community Chest Red Cross and USC before the October drive for $110,000.
