Brunswick council rejects health nurse funding proposal
The Mayor and Councilmen of Brunswick voted unanimously not to subscribe 500 toward maintaining a public health nurse. They cited a tight budget with 20 000 in annual revenue, 8500 in overhead, 10 000 in debt interest and sinking fund, and 1600 for the volunteer fire department, leaving little for improvements or emergencies.
