Lawmen Meet At Fair Ground In Frederick
The third quarterly meeting of the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers Inc. drew 400 plus officials to Frederick Fair Grounds. Norman J. Schleigh announced six new members from Frederick and Washington Counties. The group pledged 230000 bumper stickers saying Slow Down And Live and planned safety campaigns. The gathering featured a softball win for Baltimore, a Frederick victory in tug of war, and appearances by top state and city officials.
