County rezones land near Arcadia to light industrial use
Frederick County commissioners voted 3-2 to rezone 96 acres east of New Design Road and north of English Muffin Way from agriculture to light industrial, despite a split with the comprehensive plan. The move includes a 50 foot buffer along the Arcadia boundary and a plan to keep northern acres agricultural to connect nearby developments.
