Anniversary marks five years of Ibaugh Valley church progress
The Jacob Evan ice and Reformed church in Ibaugh's Valley celebrated its fifth anniversary with a home service and open air gathering. Rev. Baseler traced the congregation from log schoolhouse beginnings to the 1923 edifice, funded by 105 men and descendants, with visits from Louisiana and California. The day featured a large communion, music from a 40-voice combined choir, a basket lunch, and a three o'clock history reading by Rodney Hap, continuing church activities and routines.
