Sink hole delays FCC building work in Frederick
A 12 to 15 foot sink hole opened at Frederick Community College during construction of a new multi purpose building after heavy rains and was filled with concrete. Contractor Thomas King noted the site sits atop limestone geology and warned more sink holes are possible in Frederick County. FCC enrollment rose 4 percent this fall with 3,252 total students, including a record high number of part time students.
