The releases come in exchange for assignment of their assets to the bank receiver, a creditor on several promissory notes and single bills. Appraisals by James W. Cram er and testimony from W Canton McSherry supported the petitions filed by Peoples Liquidating Corporation, which sought the releases two years earlier. The receiver John J.
