Settlement With Roach Assigness Mapped In Navy Act
Washington Sept 17 The Navy Secretary settled all claims with the Roach estate by paying 45000 dollars to the assignees of John Loach, including 25000 for the monitor Puritan and 20000 as final payment for the despatch boat Dolphin. The Dolphin final figure followed years of dispute amid contract concerns. The Roach matter closes after adjustments and rent payments totaling 20000.
