Hood College Looks Ahead to Building Program in 1928
Hood College advancing its building program with planned central heating next summer and a new dormitory after that, similar to Shriner Hall. Endowment drive under Rex A R Tosh has raised over 300000 in cash and pledges, while Nevin Robert aids statewide fundraising. President Apple cites need for increased endowment to 590000, plus gym, library, and scholarships to broaden access. Exterior work on Shimer Hall and interior work on Brodneck Hall and the President’s house have begun.
