Miners Accept Three Year Amnesty Plan in Colorado

United Mine Workers formally accept President Wilson proposed three year amnesty plan for the Colorado mine strike. Operators have not yet stated whether they will accept. Two Miners Die in Midvalley Mine Collision at Curve

Mount Carmel Pa Sept 16 Two men were killed and eight others narrowly escaped when a trio of loaded mine cars collided with a locomotive at the Midvalley colliery. The dead were Andrew Broderick and John Seraniski. Injured include Steve Stelinsky who was crushed about the chest. The party of eleven had discarded company rules to avoid a long walk home after starting at high speed on the slope curve.
