The project will add kinder garten and pre kindergarten spaces, a science lab, a large multi purpose room, and a second eighth grade class, with construction hoped to start in November and finish by the 2001 school year. The campaign began in 1999 under the banner Celebrating Our Past Building Our Future. The school, established in 1810 by St Elizabeth Ann Seton and now run by the Daughters of Charity, serves about 400 students.
