Wood to head educators in United Way campaign
Ronald Wood former head of Frederick Community College social science division will lead the education division for the 1983 United Way of Frederick County campaign. He cites community impact and low administrative costs and aims to inform local educators about the fund’s work. Wood, a Prince George’s County native, sits on several local school and youth boards and is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Maryland. Funds support many local agencies including the Red Cross Arthritis Foundation Boy Scouts and YMCA. Also listed are activities for the Senior Fellowship Center schedule at 520 N.
