Reed Motor Company Injunction Request Denied

Chief Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer refused a temporary injunction to halt Reed Motor Co operations in Middletown after a Circuit Court hearing. Samuel A. Wilson Jr. sought the injunction to enforce a stock sale agreement that would form a new corporation with Wilson as a partner, but the court found Wilson lacked funds to fulfill terms. The Reed side contended injunctive relief would injure a business built over years, while Wilson claimed the contract hinged on securing a Ford franchise via a new corporate entity.
