Pleads Innocent Due To Insanity In Maryland High School Case
Billy Ray Prevatte, 14, pleaded innocent by reason of insanity to murder charges after a May attack at Maryland Park Junior High School that left one teacher dead and two wounded. He is in Prince Georges County jail, with court-appointed counsel. The plea follows a June finding by Spring Grove State Hospital that he was sane enough to stand trial.
