McCarthy Censure Proceedings Continue Amid Staff Challenge
Senators rejected McCarthy’s bid to bar the committee’s legal staff from helping write its report. The special committee voiced full confidence in Chadwick and De Furia, warning that granting the challenge could delay the final report.
