Olde Towne Day in Gaithersburg Promotes Character Counts
Gaithersburg schedules the 15th Annual Olde Towne Day on Sept 22 with the theme Character Counts. A main information booth at the event promotes ethics in youth, with T shirt giveaways and a morning Distinguished Citizen/Outstanding Organization program at Constitution Garden. Highlights include seven stages of performances, horse and wagon rides, a historic district tour, open museum, live steam model trains, and exhibits on the farm, plus a Casey Community Center replica on sale. East Diamond and Summit from Cedar to Brookes will close to traffic for the festival.
