Firefighters battled nearly an hour to contain a blaze that wrecked the frame two story garage of A J Eichelberger near the corner of corn avenue and Bentz street. An auto and a motorcycle belonging to Val Derr were ruined and flames threatened nearby houses before crews tore off roof sections to extinguish the fire. The origin is undetermined.
