Middletown annexation talks hinge on road plans and zoning
Frederick County Planning Commission and Middletown officials reviewed a 118 acre annexation from Coblentz Limited Partnership. The site near Coblentz Road and East Main Street is agricultural now, with a proposed R-20 zoning and 160 single family homes. A public works agreement and traffic impact on Coblentz and Hollow roads prompted a hold on a decision, with a street between Coblentz and Hollow planned after 60 lots.
