Pavement Plate letter hints at mass mutual disarmament idea
The Pavement Plate writes an open letter to President Eisenhower and Premier Bulganin proposing a comical yet stark thought experiment: nations disarm each other by sending crews to destroy military assets, predicting widespread chaos but a temporary peace. The piece lands amid other brief notices about a fraud arrest in Frederick and a flood relief commendation to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce by President Eisenhower.
