Museum to host Civil War medicine exhibits in September
The National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick announces September events including Medicine for the Southern Soldier on Sept 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Glenn and Gloria Baugher in living history roles. On Sept 26 from noon to 4 p.m. The Season of Antietam recreates civilian relief and hospital care post battle. Keith Rocco signs prints Sept 27, with proceeds aiding NMICWM. Walking tours run Saturdays and Sundays through December.
