Montgomery horse fever fundraiser raises money for research
MontCo horsemen held an all day Barnesville fundraiser to aid Potomac Fever research after the death of seven year old Christopher Cangelesi's Appaloosa. About 100 people attended at Sugarloaf Equestrian Center, donating through raffles and auctions to the Morris Animal Foundation. The event featured veterinarians from Maryland and Virginia and raised $1,000 from local clubs. Potomac Fever cases rise across Montgomery and nearby counties, with symptoms including fever, off-feed, dehydration, and diarrhea.

Tax Deductions for Business Entertaining Rules and Examples
Prentice Hall researchers note legitimate deductions for business entertainment. Deductible costs hinge on bona fide business discussion on the same day as the entertainment, with receipts for expenses of 25 dollars or more and detailed records. A hypothetical week shows deductible tennis tickets, lunches, and some gifts, while golf greens fees generally aren’t deductible unless tied to a business discussion.
