A Gulf Oil Company truck overturned on Route 340 west of Weverton around 10 45 am, burning for over an hour and injuring driver Harry Morgan with minor burns. The truck carried 10 gallons of gasoline and 40 gallons of kerosene en route from Knoxville to Sandy Hook. Firefighters extinguished the blaze. no lives were endangered and no charges were filed.
