Potter would debate Ficker on tax limit ballot issue
Montgomery County Executive Neal Potter indicated he might debate Robin Ficker, the author of Question A, as part of a campaign kickoff. Potter criticized the plan to raise the piggyback tax to 60 percent, saying voters have previously rejected many of Ficker’s ballot questions. Ficker defended his amendment and accused Potter of avoiding debate, while local groups warned of long term fiscal harm if Question A passes.
