Felt-faced sanding block construction and use
Create a felt faced block by attaching a 4 by 44 inch wood block to a 5 inch square pad of felt with rubber cement. Trim excess felt after drying. For sanding, cut standard by ten sheets into quarters and press over the felt with fingers. Make curved blocks by cementing felt to dowels or triangular wood blocks and allow cement to set. Do not use tacks as they may scratch surfaces.
