Young railroad worker crushed in accident near Adamstown
HURT ON B AND C. OLIVER B. Harding, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Harding of near Adamstown, employed on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, was badly crushed Tuesday at about 9 50 while unloading stone from a railroad car. He slipped through a pocket on the car and was dragged several feet before the car was stopped. He suffered a crushed hip and leg, was taken to Frederick City Hospital, operated on Wednesday, and showed evidence of internal injuries but was resting as well as can be expected.
