Daniel Christopher Jacobs Jr., 23, of Maxwell Avenue, dies after his car explodes during a high speed pursuit near Woodsboro. The crash damages four cars, two buildings, a light pole and a fence. Jacobs had worked as a water treatment operator for the city of Frederick and was a Frederick High School alumnus. Funeral arrangements set for Sunday at 2 p.m. at M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
