Dairy To Ignore Order By Court
A federal court order requiring three East Shore dairies to supply USDA records will not be complied with says Mills Dairy Products Co owner in Cambridge. Mills plans to close the Cambridge operation rather than yield records, joining Brice G. Twilley and Nesbit C. Murphy in opposition to the order. The dairies, fighting federal milk orders aimed at Eastern Shore pricing, warned of a White House protest if records are seized. Mills serves 4,500 customers, with about 30 suppliers and 30 workers.
