Not Guilty In Slow Driving Case In Magisterial Court
Meredith L. Esworthy of Taney Avenue was acquitted on a charge of driving so slowly as to impede traffic on U S 340 near Jefferson. Magistrate Byron W Thompson ruled there was no willful intent to impede traffic. Richard C Jackson of Germantown was fined 15 dollars for failing to keep right and 50 dollars for driving without a license. He was also found not guilty of failing to appear for trial.
