Greyhound seeks permit to build new terminal on East All Saints

An application for a building permit to construct a Greyhound bus terminal on East All Saints Street has been filed. The plan, tied to landowner Frederick Optimist Club, includes a 30 by 60 foot one story building costing about $20,000 with a ticket office and waiting area. The project would relocate Greyhound facilities from West Patrick Street, using a 100 by 120 foot area of the public parking lot and continuing to use the adjacent truck tract for packing. Officials expect quick approval since no planning board action is noted, and the terminal would mark a long-awaited shift in local transit facilities.
