Fifty-one scholastic grants ranging from 146 to 990 dollars per year have been awarded by Mount St. Marys College Emmitsburg for the current academic year. Commissioner's Son Faces Narcotics Charge in Maryland
SALISBURY September 6 Lewis C Merryman Jr 28 son of a U S commissioner was free on 25000 bond on a narcotics charge. He was arrested in Ocean City after police surveillance and officers seized marijuana cigarettes state papers and carrying boxes. Merryman’s bond was posted by his father U S commissioner for Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Ocean City magistrate Judge James B Robins ordered him held for Worcester County grand jury action later this month.

Plead Innocent In Negro Boy's Murder
