Dover September 6 191? Attorney General Josiah Wolcott was named for U S senator after a day long contest that toppled Saulsbury control. Full ticket listed Governor Hughes Lieutenant Governor Eliason Congressman Polk Attorney General Chaytor Commissioner Wson State Treasurer Lord State Auditor Rod. Saulsbury urged harmony then backed Lynch briefly before the convention pivoted.
