Five Witnesses Testify in Coatesville Lynching Probe

West Chester Pa Sept 7 Parker Foos seventeen one of the witnesses before the grand jury probing the Zack Walker lynching in Coatesville Aug 13 was arrested after testifying charged with perjury. Foos a test stamper in Worth mill was arrested by special policeman Andrew Wright and admitted to Bail. Additional witnesses included Leon Lipkin David Wright and W L W Jones with five women among them. The inquiry also heard Miss Townsend the hospital superintendent and Miss McMenamin a nurse who tended the ward where the self wounded man was kept. The probe moves toward identifying mob members and their roles.
